Duties and Responsibilities Work enthusiastically to assist individual clients or small groups to craft detailed and accessorized costumes with recommended inclusions from the retail selection, in their desired style and size Answer client questions both in person and over the phone Maintain organization and cleanliness in between clients in both the storefront and the warehouse, primarily through putting away stock Provide support to costume coordinators and other retail employees as needed Work with the department manager to price and complete rentals efficiently Qualifications and Requirements Skilled at communicating clearly and professionally with clients in one-on-one interactions Proficient at multitasking and efficiently balancing multiple goals at a time Enthusiastic about finding creative solutions to unique problems Willing and able to learn and apply new information quickly Comfortable with handling basic administrative tasks:
answering phone calls, typing, counting registers, filling out paperwork with adequate instructions Must be able to meet physical demands of position:
climbing up and down ladders, safely lifting up to 40 pounds at a time, standing for extended periods of time, working productively in cool or hot temperatures for limited periods of time Some theatrical (Broadway) knowledge preferred Some historical fashion knowledge preferred Job Types:
