We have been helping doctors with their financial performance for more than 15 years and due to our continued growth, we have an immediate need for full-time RCM - AR Team Lead.
Your Role as a Revenue Cycle AR Team Lead:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Lead to oversee the financial processes within the AR Team.
The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle operations, billing procedures, and financial analytics.
This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems.
The RCM Lead will collaborate with various departments to optimize revenue streams, improve billing accuracy, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Requirements and Skills:
Lead the Revenue Cycle AR Team in executing day-to-day operations related to billing, collections, and accounts receivable.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue generation, minimize denials, and reduce accounts receivable days.
Analyze billing data and financial reports to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve revenue cycle efficiency.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess revenue cycle performance and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee the preparation and submission of claims to third-party payers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with billing regulations.
Provide guidance and training to staff on revenue cycle processes, coding guidelines, and compliance requirements.
Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations, reimbursement policies, and industry trends impacting revenue cycle management.
Conduct regular audits to ensure billing accuracy, coding compliance, and adherence to billing guidelines.
Serve as a liaison between the General Surgery team and other departments to address revenue-related issues and implement best practices.
Develop and maintain relationships with payers, vendors, and external stakeholders to facilitate revenue cycle operations.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
Proficiency in healthcare billing systems, electronic health records (EHR), and revenue cycle management software.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCR) certification preferred.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance in billing practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
