Leading Aerospace Machine Shop that produces complex high precision mission critical hardware with milling, turning and EDM capability has an immediate opening for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer/Estimator
Main
Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for providing accurate estimates and production job plans using JobBOSS, the company ERP system
Daily responsibilities include but not limited to :
? Analyze drawings, electronic models, customer specifications
? Investigating the best resources for cost reduction and delivery improvement on material, hardware and outside processes
? Estimate cost data including set up time, run time, material and other associated requirements and prepare formal quotes
? Prepare detailed process routing
? Provide customer service and program status
? Work closely and support other team members from planning stages through manufacturing and final shipment of products
Experience:
? Able to read & interpret drawings, CAD/CAM Models, geometric tolerances & customer specifications
? Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication & machining processes.
? Knowledge of finishing processes (heat treating, plating, aerospace painting, etc.)
? Familiar with shop floor systems & machining equipment (i.e. raw material processing, milling, turning, EDM, grinding, quality control, assembly)
? Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word
? Able to effectively present information, orally & written, and answer questions
? Strong interpersonal relations, negotiation, and phone skills
? Able to calculate run rates and setup times
? Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
? Five years' experience in related position in machining or manufacturing industryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
