Care Providers ALL Shifts F/T or P/T Luxury Assisted Living Community
San Antonio Heights is a lovely retirement community situated on a lush campus with lovely views and endless on-site amenities. We are looking to build a team of skilled professionals with a passion for working with seniors and a desire to play an important role working at the finest Senior Housing Community in the Upland area. We are currently seeking friendly, energetic, positive, team players to work as Care Providers.
Position Type: Hourly, Non Exempt
Position
Summary: The Care Provider is responsible for:
Providing direct personal care and supervision to residents in accordance with resident's individualized Service Plan.
Offer choices, maintain and promote dignity and individuality in order to enhance the resident's individuality, satisfaction and quality of life
Encourage residents to participate in activities
Work with housekeepers and maintenance staff to maintain community cleanliness. Work with Dining Services to ensure resident's needs are met.
Follow safety policies and procedures, including; proper lifting and transferring, infection control practices, fire safety and universal precautions.
Assist resident's at mealtime
Support residents in daily household task insuring their apartments are neat and safe at all times.
Respond quickly to resident alerts
Follow schedules of duties for Care Providers
Assist Med Technicians when needed
Skills Required:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Able to maintain first aid certification
