Job Description:
Lewis Apartment Communities, a division of the Lewis Group of Companies, one of the nation's largest privately-held real estate developers, currently has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced individual to join the company as Director of Marketing for the Residential Apartment Portfolio. This position would report to the Vice President of Marketing and be located in our Upland, CA corporate headquarters.

The Lewis Group has successfully developed over 40 communities totaling more than 10,000 apartment homes in California and Nevada. This important position will develop, promote and maintain strategies and execute tactics that communicate the Lewis Apartment Community brand message. The right candidate would work with the Vice President of Marketing, the Vice President of Property Management and other staff, managing multiple responsibilities in the Company's marketing and promotional efforts for the apartment portfolio. The Director will oversee all communications, public relations and promotional activities selected to support the brand and marketing strategy for each of the 40 apartment communities in the Company's Southern and Northern California and Las Vegas, Nevada portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include:
oAssist in the implementation of strategic marketing plans, programs and tactics.
oCoordinate with consultants for development and production of advertising, signage, and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
oPlan and oversee events and promotional activities.
oOversee marketing materials & content prior to production.
oPrepare contracts, process and track invoice payments, and update budget expenditures.
oInteract and coordinate with other Lewis Vice Presidents, Project Managers and Community Managers.
oCoordinate and manage the production of in-house marketing materials.
Prior experience and knowledge of apartment marketing and/or marketing within the hospitality industries is highly preferred.
Four-year college degree, Marketing emphasis preferred.
Technical proficiency in a variety of software programs, including MS Office and those integral to desktop publishing and website maintenance.
Skills, attributes and additional requirements:
Ability to juggle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment, and often under several supervisors.
Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills a must.
Able to work effectively with a variety of external consultants, vendors, and suppliers.
Must be able to multi-task and see projects through to completion.
Occasional travel will be required (Sacramento/Las Vegas)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
